In the period from May 17th to May 20th 2022, the third meeting of the coordination group for the preparation of the 15th Balkan Countries Chiefs of Defense Conference was held in Ohrid.

At the meeting, the representatives of the B-9 Forum member states discussed the tasks from the joint statement of the 14th Balkan Countries Chiefs of Defense Conference, as well as from the second meeting of the coordination group.

The subgroups on asymmetric threats and on education, training and exercises reviewed and approved the annual reports relating to the work of these subgroups.

At the same time, other materials needed for the realization of the 15th Conference were prepared, together with the conclusions of the coordination group from this third meeting. Further on a reconnaissance of the location where the conference will be held in the period from 15th to17th June, 2022 was made.

At this meeting, the same as at the previous one, participants reaffirmed their commitments to advancing and promoting regional stability and security in the Balkans through continuous military cooperation.
