The 18th Balkan Countries Chiefs of General Staff Conference 1st Education, Training And Exercises Sub-Working Group (ETESWG) Meeting was held on 05 February 2025 at the General Staff Headquarters in Ankara with the participation of the Armed Forces representatives of Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovnia.
The purpose of the meeting is to work on the tasks assigned to ETESWG by the Coordination Group and to present the results to the Coordination Group.
In the meeting in question, information was given regarding the Law of Armed Conflict Course (10-14 February 2025), Special Forces Training (07-11 April 2025) and the Eurasia Peace-2025 Exercise (12-16 May 2025) to be hosted by Ankara in 2025, and the duties subsequently assigned to ETESWG were discussed.
The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive manner and provided a solid foundation for ETESWG to successfully achieve its goals. The 2nd ETESWG Meeting will be held in Ankara on 15-17 April 2025.
